Apartments in Loulé , Algarve
During 2020 i have been working on the renovation of a house in the historic centre of Loulé in the Algarve, Portugal. working closely with the interior designer and architect i have designed and fabricated all of the internal steelwork of the build. This includes a feature staircase, and railings in the main living space and mezzanine, lighting, doors and kitchen panels.

Residence in Alentejo, Portugal
Final project for 2020 has been designing, fabricating and installing main gates and internal doors for a house in Alentejo, Portugal using a mixture of steel and Acacia wood . The gates presented a design challenge as they are located on a hill with considerable exposure to winds. The solution was to have louvred wooden panels rather than solid to minimise wind resistance.

Vila Bica
The client for a new high end cocktail bar and restaurant in Lisbon wanted a classic feel and a grand statement for the shelving and furnishings in his new venture. All of the works i created here have a steel frame, faced in brass with a liberal use of mirrors and glass .

Social B bar and restaurant
Social B is a new bar and restaurant in the Cais do Sodre area. I worked with Mikas the owner to create internal and external features in steel and recycled wood that were contemporary but influenced by the style and architecture of the existing space.

Artspace
Bar shelving for new bar and gallery in Graça, Lisbon.

Simplesmente Pizzaria
Simplesmente is a favourite haunt of lisboetas and tourists alike in the Bairro Alto district of Lisbon. They needed a new frontage to replace the ubiquitous commercial style of many Lisbon establishments and this is the result.

El Bulo by Chakall
My working relationship with the chef Chakall dates back to the start of my work in Lisbon in 2015 when I helped him develop what was to become a pivotal venture in the renaissance of Marvilla…The El Bulo Social Club. Since then I have returned to help with new projects for him…and other bars and restaurants in the area.

Sal Comporta/Bota Sal
Another enduring relationship has been with Vasco and his team at the Sal group of restaurants. Sal Comporta, Sal Burger and Da Comporta, and Bota Sal in Lisbon. From signage and steel fish to an internal steel wall…the work continues.
