Signs of the Times
Over the past 4 years I have been able to make a small contribution to the streetscapes of Lisbon and beyond by designing and/or fabricating a wide range of signs for bars, restaurants, shops and hotels in Lisbon and beyond. Here is a selection of my work in this area.
The making of a sign
I use various techniques to create unique signage for clients. Here i used vintage Meccano found in a Lisbon market to create a representation of Lisbon´s famous suspension bridge . By day it presents a textured 3D effect and by night is backlit to provide a silhouette at sunset.
Let there be light
This is where my love of working with steel started, in using it as the raw material for the design and fabrication of lighting, something which I still like to experiment with and is often incorporated into the large projects I have undertaken with clients. Here are some examples of lighting I have made. I can adapt these ideas or come up with new designs to suit your needs and budgets.

Art
This is where my love of the textures and used of steel started when in London I had a studio in the East End and used found scrap from building sites and beaches to create evocative art pieces. Many of the following pieces have been sold, but as well as working on the commercial projects outlined above, I am also happy to create sculpture for your home or business
